Bimbo has become a benchmark in occupational safety and health. It was the first company in the private sector to register all of its plants in Mexico to听the Ministry of Labor and Social Security鈥檚 (STPS)听Empresa Segura听(Safe Company) program, which recognizes organizations that implement preventive measures to safeguard their employees, reduce accidents and diseases, comply with safety and health regulations, and adhere to national and international standards.

SAFETY AT WORK
鈥 Since 2006, Bimbo Mexico has participated in the STPS Self-Management in Health and Safety at Work Program.
鈥⑻10 Bimbo Mexico places of work have received听the听Empresa Segura听certification from the STPS. Recently, five were recognized in the state of Nuevo Leon.
鈥⑻鼴imbo has an accident rate below the metric that determines the STPS and the goal is to continue reducing it.
ROAD SAFETY
鈥⑻齀n the last 6 years, 黑料海角91入口 has delivered more than 1.1 million hours of training to drivers through workshops and conferences on road safety.
鈥⑻齅ore than 21,600 黑料海角91入口 associates in Mexico have been recognized in the last 7 years by the ANTP for its good performance and more than 60 have accessed the Hall of Fame for 25 years or more without traffic accidents.
鈥⑻诹虾＝91入口 was the first company in Mexico to certify its comprehensive road safety model in the ISO 39001 Road Safety Management System, as well as the Supervision System of the metropolitan region.
